I have a silkie broody hen that’s laying on 3 eggs. I just bought 10 silkies that are a week old now. After she hatches these 3 eggs I don’t want anymore chicks just the eggs. What do I do? Can I just steal them? Or what? I hate to do that to her but I have way to many now lol

You might have to give her away or sell her. Silkies only lay eggs to build a clutch, they aren't good layers. You can try, but it probably won't work.

You could keep her away from a rooster so the eggs aren't fertile, then just take them as she lays.

There’s no way I could do that I’ve only had her a year and she was my first chicken I love her. I may just let her hatch them and sale them. She’s not really a good mama once their born she kinda just goes about her business once their here but she’s good at sitting on them.

That's totally fine, I wasn't sure how attached you were to her. Chickens are special birds. The 10 you have now will grow up and hatch lots of chicks too though, lol

that’s a great idea once she hatches these I will put her in with my pullets

hahaha I know I am new to this chicken thing and at the time I hadn’t thought all of this thew. I had in my head once the hens laid the eggs I’d steal them once I got home from work and now my hen is broody I can’t catch her off the eggs to steal them and I hate to bother her once she’s sitting.

It's ok! You sure can try. I think its good to put her in with your pullets. She probably will love being with them.
