Broody hen won't leave the nest

how do I get a broody hen to leave the nest and stay off it. Our rooster was ran over by a kid on purpose and so I know the eggs are not fertile. She has been on the nest over 3 weeks.

Wire bottom cage lifted up off the ground so her belly cools..Provide food and water...You can let her out once in awhile as long as you don't let her sit...Being she has been broody so long it will take longer in the crate to break her....
