Broody hen

My broody hen has been setting on some eggs due to hatch any day now. The coop is not a safe place for the chicks when they hatch. I tried to move her to the brooder I have setup in my garage but she will not sit on the eggs in there. I waited for a while but didn’t want to ruin the eggs so I put her back in the coop. Any ideas?!? Why won’t she set on them?

You may have to set up some sort of barrier around her to protect her from the others, until her chicks hatch.
Moving her now will upset her and cause her to abandon the nest. Not a good idea unless you have an incubator handy as your backup plan.

Yes she will be fine to move when all eggs have hatched or you feel all that are going to hatch have hatched. But if you have rolled the eggs from the position they was I doubt your hatch rate will be good
