Broody hen

I have a question i have a hen who is setting on about a dozen eggs and im not sure how long she has been on there but some days she get off the eggs for 30 -45 minutes then other days she is off for only 10 and yesterday she didnt get off the eggs at all is there a reason she is acting this way?

Thats normal. Some days she wants more off time than others. The eggs will be fine if she leaves for short periods to eat and drink. You may want to candle the eggs to make sure they are fertile and to get a guess on how long she has been sitting.
