I have 6 orpingtons that are 1 year old. As soon as one gets over being broody, another one starts. Is this normal? I've tried putting them in a cage and it doesn't seem to help. Just wondering what I can do this to make it stop. Thanks!

Broodieness is contagious so yeah it is normal. Can air circulate all around them ? if not then that could be why the cage is not working

Your cage needs to not allow them to sit tight and heat up, some, just moving them, will stop them, others need a wire bottom off the ground as mentioned, so they can't heat up.
