Broody killed all her eggs.

I went out to candle the remaining 6 eggs, and found that she'd let 4 get cold.. I stuck them back under her, just in case... but they were COLD. I pulled out the remaining warm duck egg, and found that it is cracked, and seems to be all liquid inside. The other chicken egg is too hard to see through. So... I chucked the broken egg, and am going to find 3 chicks at TSC... but really, do I trust her with chicks?

Yeah.... the last time I got a broody, she was wonderful... that was a B.O though... this one is a chantecler... you think she'll do okay with chicks?

mine did ok. I think there were to many chicks for her and she didn't know what to do half of the time. I kept a heat lamp on where they were so if the babies were wondering around without her they would still be warm. They did fine with that.
