Broody Male Amhurst Pheasant?!!!

I'm a little confused... Our male Amhurst pheasant appears to have gone broody. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?!

Yes my temminck male sets every year.Let him hatch them out and maybe your hen will lay more eggs and she will set.

The male hatched 3 out of 3 eggs but one was dead in the nest.It was all dry so I take it didn't jump out of the nest with the rest got cold and died.The hen temminck is on 7 blue eareds and due to come off next week.I was hoping she would lay 4 or 5 more eggs but didn't and was setting on nothing so I threw in some blue eared eggs for her to hatch and raise.
