Broody or broody not?

Ok I have a chicken and around her legs is these big furballs sticking out is she picking her feathers out to go broody?
Sometimes my neighboor tells me that they sing the egg song at her place!!! How would I find the eggs if they did go broody over there how would I find them I have had one go broody over there and then she layed another nest and I found it?????
Ideas PLEASE!

They may be laying eggs over at your neighbor's house and the only way to find them is to look for hidden caches of eggs. I once found a hidden nest that had 17 eggs in my forest. If you have a broody over there you wouldn't know it until she strolled out with a group of new babies. Do you have any missing birds?

No they are all here but one seems to be seperating a fair bit

I would check the chick to see what is up with fur balls. It could be stuff stuck that she cant get off. I would not worry right now about broodiness it is early for that since it is winter.
