Broody Pancake in Nest Box

Went to get eggs today and the nest box was filled with a flat orange pancake that growled at me. My Buff Orpington is broody again! This time I am hoping for a hatch!!

I have a BO that keeps "trying out" being broody. She only does it for a few hours at a time like she's trying to decide if she's gonna like it! It's amazing how flat they can get themselves so flat!

My broody doesn't go flat- she just gets bigger! My MIL gave my girls these little wind-up Easter toys, and one is a chick. I took it out and showed the broody, just to see what she would do. Good grief, she filled up that entire box, she fluffed up so much.
