hey to all. i have my first broody hen and of course the egg she is on isnt fertle. should i remove her from the nest?

That would depend on what you want, eggs or her to raise some chicks. I know you'd need to find fertile eggs.

well we just go some chicks so really not wanting anymore right now. i think one of our little ones is a roo so, maybe later she can. i just dont know how to do it. will she still lay eggs if she is broody?

When they go broody they stop laying. So if you want her to lay you have to break her broodiness. I my self have never broken a broody. If I were to I'd put her in a wire cage to let her cool down.
