Hi guys, today I just found out my quail might just me broody. She is sitting on a good amount of eggs but here’s the problem,I want to go in the aviary to give my quail some food and water but I don’t want to disturb her.what should I do?

You can't let your birds go hungry, so you're going to have to go in and feed and water your birds. Hopefully she'll stay on her nest, but don't be surprised if she gives up. You're going to want to mark the eggs she has as well. Otherwise, she's likely to keep collecting eggs until she has so many that some will not get warm enough. If you mark the ones she has, you'll be able to remove the new ones she collects, giving them a chance.

Keep a close eye on her. Even if she's undisturbed, she's likely to give up halfway. At that point, you'll either want to have an incubator warmed up and ready or be prepared to give up on the eggs.

She left the nest for awhile then came back dose that mean she gave up?
