Broody question

I have a broody sitting on 6 eggs. After trying to get her to stop being broody I had finally given her eggs. The clutch is due to hatch next week and I was wondering how long will it take her to get back up to weight?

that depends on the hen...actually mine have never really lost any weight to mention. the food is always there and when they are sitting on the nest they are not exerting any real energy to lose weight so to speak...they get off when they are hungry and eat and drink and go back on after a dust bath sometimes.
