Broody question

I have a BCM hen that I bought a few months ago. Not sure of her age.

For the past few days, she won't come out of the nesting box. She fluffs up her feathers when we come near her, but doesn't get mean. I took her out yesterday and she just went back in. (No eggs, just golf balls)

Does this mean she is broody?

I just got a shipment of Silkie eggs today. Should I slip some under her????

I put 4 Silkie eggs under her last night. We'll see what happens!!
