Broody question

Hi just a quick update to let you know she's back to normal! :) still not laying but at least she's acting normally again, she spent 3 days in the cage which seemed to do it. I just wanted to say thankyou again for all the help, it's much appreciated :)

I think we have another broody now our Wyandotte girl wouldn't come out this morning and was quite snappy with me, will see later on!

Hi again,
Sorry to bring up an old thread I was hoping for some advice again! This site is fantastic, so much information :) one of our hens is "I think" broody again. She has been sitting in the nest box constantly for a few days only coming out once a day to eat or when we remove her, but then after a while she bustles straight back in again. She's also puffing herself up and biting when we go near her and also growling at the other hens if they do in the coop. The only thing that's confusing me is she is still laying, can hens lay but still be broody or is it maybe that she's ill?

Thanks a lot for any advice!
