Broody Rhode Island Red

I have a one and a half year old RI Red who started getting broody this spring. I've broken her three times now, but she keeps relapsing. I've got her in rehab again now. I'm beginning to wonder it she will never fully recover. Any thoughts?

Such a hen will generally continue going broody. Sometimes allowing them to set and raise chicks will lengthen the interval between the broody spells.

I thought RIR rarely go broody, that they're primarily egg laying meat birds?
