Broody Roo?

Hens can and do sometimes crow. I have one that crows and actually mounts the other hens. But the photo you show sure looks like a rooster to me. I will keep watching this for sure!

I had a hen that used to call the other hen over for food like the roster does.

Looks male to me, too.

Maybe he's 'showing his feminine side'. Seriously, though, I think that roosters very occasionally do sit eggs, but I'm not sure if they go the course.
