Hi
I have two broody silkies :-(. I have read on here the suggestions to break them or let them set and hatch. I have a friend that is willing to give me a couple of fertile eggs for them to hatch BUT I dont want babies to raise at all. Does anyone know if I do let them hatch, will they be ok with letting me give the chickens back to my friend to raise or will they need to have them for some time to get over this broody thing
. I dont like the cage and fan breaking plan at all so not sure if this is my only option. I move them off the nest everyday and take them over to eat snacks and food and steal the eggs from the other hens they are sitting on hoping they will get over it. Will they get over it?
