I'm not overly experienced with A&M's, but the one I have has been doing the exact same thing for 5 days straight. I'm assuming it's their behavior

Is your girl sitting on eggs? I collect eggs every day so she only had the one she had just laid when she got started. I gave her three more that I got from the other hens that morning, so she's sitting on four. I had to get her mate out of there when she became broody because she was literally trying to kill the poor guy.

Thought I would update this, unfortunately none hatched. She sat really well, actually I never even saw her off the nest and had to kick her off in the end. She sometimes had one or two eggs sitting out to the side, as pictured, and I suppose that's why they failed to hatch.
