So my broody's eggs started hatching yesterday and I went to check in her but walked out with teeny, tiny black bugs all over my arms!!! I'm assuming these are mites because I have never deal with them.

What do I do for my hens....but especially my day old chicks!!!!

I should add that once they are all hatched, I'm moving the mamma and babies to an XL dog kennels should I go ahead and dust that with sevin so that is there when I move them. Or if that too harsh for chicks that young.

Once I move them, I will dust the other coop with sevin, but I'm mostly worried about mamma and babies,

you can dust the momma hen. don't need to dust the chicks, they will get some sevin off momma and so far it has not hurt the chicks.

I would not dust the new set up where they go in. do dust or completely clean or get rid of the old nest.
