broody with pale comb?

Hi All, Hope this is in the right place. I have a hen who seems to be broody but only for about the past week. she has moved from nest box to nest box like she's trying them out. Finally today and yesterday she seems to have settled on one. I'm concerned though ,she seems to have a pale comb and wattles today. Anybody else seen anything like this? She will peck at me and ruffle up if I bother her but I would not say she seems very mean. I put two more eggs under her last night.I wish I had just set them in the box and watched to see if she would roll them under her on her own, but I did the work for her. Any input would be appreciated, Thanks

For my broodies, I make sure they have food and water in reach while on the nest. Also dust for mites/lice as the broody does not bathe regular like when she is on the nest.
