Broody's eggs hatching today...sooo excited!!!!

My broody's eggs are hatching today.

This is my very first hatch (I have a batch in the bator set to hatch Saturday). When I went to check on her this morning i could see half an empty shell sticking out from under her and i could hear piping and peeping. She wouldn't let me see tho

When I tried to look she went all "ninja chicken" on me. Maybe she will be out with them this afternoon or in the morning so I can see her babies.

Here is my Rachel with one of her babies. Out of the five eggs under her, two hatched. One was cracked (don't know if she did it turning it), one stopped developing early on and one has a full term chick inside. I put it in the bator...will see if it hatches or not.
