It's not unusual for them to take a break while they get adjusted to their new surroundings.

I've become a new mom to several hens that needed a new home. Each one took a day or so off and then went back to the routine that they had at their old home.

We're still waiting to see that first egg - it will be a full week as of Saturday. LOL we keep checking talking to her, getting her used to her new home. LOL she has found an outside perch - she likes to sleep on the roof of her "home" - since it has a mesh roof above that she can get up there and rest.

She's made a nest in the straw in her nest box, so just waiting and checking - daily (okay a couple of times a day).
