I recently was given a Brower 845. When I plug it in the light comes on and the temperature rises well. As per the manual it says to turn the knob right to lower temps. Will light go off when setting has been reached? Is the knob supposed to be turned multiple rotations? Any suggestions

Not sure on that model but i am sure that when the light goes off it has reached the temp you have the dial set at. I am sure the knob shouldn't be turned in one direction but so many times. If you have a thermometer plug it in and turn the dial til you reach the 99.5 temp. I would think turning the dial counter clockwise increases the temp.
