depends upon whether you want eggs for you and your family, or whether you want eggs to sell
for yourself: egg shell color doesn't matter other than as an artistic/aesthetic thing ... in other words, what appeals to you
what the chickens are EATING primarily determines how the eggs taste (and how yellow or orange the yolks are)
if you're selling them, though ... for some reason, many people think brown eggs are more attractive, taste better, look better, are worth more ... LOL
other people, in the minority, and I'm one of them, like eggs that are different in color ... either a range of colors, or "odd" colors ... pink, khaki, dark brown, blue-green ... and so on
Candy
(as with many questions, the answer is: "it depends" ... )
