Brown patching on leg Barr eggs

I have had this leg barr x hen for a while and I notice that she occasionally lays eggs with dark brown patches and sometimes a dusty surface. Not worried about it but I’m just wondering what’s causing it

Are her eggs always speckled like that?
What do you mean by "dusty"?
Is the shell thin where the brown band is?

Thickness and everything else is just like a normal egg… by dusty it feels like it’s been rolled around in dust, no actual textural change to the shell surface
