bruised beak?

Hey, i have a 2 year old male pekin duck and all of a sudden the front part of his beak which has like a little white oval shaoe thing, it now is like a purplish color. It was fine earlier. I just want to make sure its nothing serious.

I would monitor it and make sure it doesn't get worse. Ducks can and will bruise their beaks. As long as it is nothing he tried eating and got it lodged in his beak causing swelling, it should go away with time like humans bruises. Do you have any pictures?
