Brussel sprouts and asparagus

I like to roast both, the asparagus with a little olive oil, salt and pepper.

And the Brussels sprouts I do the same but like to add some candied walnuts at the end :)
 
SIL mentioned 'roasted'. How long at what temperature ?

Sorry I guess I usually just kind of wing it haha. I would probably do the sprouts around 400, and check them at 30 minutes. It depends on how big they are and how many you have of course. If they are pretty big I often cut them in half so that they cook through quicker. Sometimes I cook them almost through and then pull them out if I need the oven space, and then pop them back in at the end to warm them up and finish cooking :)

I would do the asparagus a little lower, maybe 375, and check them around 15-20 minutes. Might need longer but I tend to forget about them and overcook them quite often haha.
