Our game hen that we purchased to be the incubator in residence has hatched out her first batch. They are about two weeks old now. We purchased a dozen barnyard mix eggs from a lady and left a few of her own under her as well. We ended up with five of the mix eggs and two of her own. Not a great hatch rate, but then again I'm not going to complain about $4 a dozen eggs.
Now the fun of guessing who is what begins. I'll post individual pics when they feather in a bit more and then we can play everyone's favorite game. Til then, here are a few random pics of mom and the kids.
