I have a nice bsl cockeral I'd planned to freezer camp just due to not needing another roo, but we're going to cull our EE roo and keep the bsl. I have BR hens (that's where he came from lol), and also BO, EE that are the wheaton color, BSL hens, brown leghorn hens and one mean old red hen. I really just want an egg flock, so looks don't matter so much, but they might as well be pretty, all else being equal. So, any ideas what colors/patterns I'll get? Or better yet, pictures?

A BSL roo would be Het. barred so when bred to non barred hens, half of the offspring would be barred and half would be non barred. And seeing those hen breeds, you're going to get some Red leakage in most of the chicks so you may end up with some pretty Red Barred looking birds here and there too.
