Bubble by eye?

My chicken Sandy has a bubble by her eye and I don't know what it is!

I am having trouble with one of my 4.5 week old buff orps eye. Hers does not look like your chicken, in fact, it doesn't even look swollen, or injured in anyway. She closes it, and walks around with one eye open. She's been normal in every other way.

Anyway, I'm not sure if this will help your chicken, but I ended up putting an opthalmic ointment called terramycin on it last night, and this morning. It's been working for whatever it is she has. I had some already from my vet for an eye infection my dog had, but I think you can buy it at a feed store.

Is she sneezing or congested sounding? otherwise healthy besides the bubbly eye? if so than i would use terramycin eye ointment or some sort of optical antibiotic, could be she just got a scratch in there and its infected. I have a hen that happened to, she was otherwise healthy besides the eye with bubbles in it, turns out she had a nasty scratch on her eyeball that festered. I cured it by cleaning it with a warm cloth several times a day and put the ointment on there 3 times a day for a week. You can find it here
