It's day 24 and I just candled my Polish eggs. One is definetly alive. In the other I can see bubbles moving when I move the egg. Is this one a goner? :(

I think I have read that that means the chick is drowning. Its probably too late now.

I'm sorry.

I had a bubbler once. It was from a ruptured yolk sac. I assisted it and it lived a day but was severely crippled. But that was becsuse I was too scared to assist too fast and I left it in the shell overnight to absorb the yolk. Bad idea. Probably should have helped it out quicker. It's always hard to know what to do in these situations.

I should add that the bubbles were occurring while it was hatching and from its mouth. Sorry looks like you had a different situation.

I have 7 eggs incubating. One of them was laid yesterday. This egg was very oblong in shape, and I could see bubbles inside...and a dark spot moving around as I move the egg. Unlike a yolk, the dark spot seperates and moves like a liquid pouring out of something. Im not sure if this is a large air pocket inside or a broken yolk. I'm going to incubate anyways and see what happens, but I'm not so sure this one will live. Has anyone else seen this?
