So ive decided to get a Buckeye chick! just waiting for my paycheck, I have an Issue though, our coop has a storage part and the accual coop , but Where do I put my chick untill She would be old enough to go with the rest! when I pick her up she will be vaccinated and we do have thr 4 feet for her, (the last 4 feet sadly till we get another coop) but Im worried she might get hurt or sick, we do have a lamp but its in the coop part, should I keep her In my house or put her in my garadge, BUT thats where Our new kitten is living at the moment(we have a doggie door) also fumes and loud noises might scare the poor chick, PLEASE HELP

How long will it be until you get another coop?
If you have photos of where you are thinking about housing her that would be great.

A single chick will be very lonely, so you may want to consider getting at least 2-3, so she has some friends. Integration of just one, even if she has been housed next to the adults will be a stressful time.

If you are questioning where to put her now, then it may be best until you have your new coop finished.

yes we do have the last 4 feet for one more chicken, If i get a new coop it will have to be a small 2 chicken coop,

the easiest way to integrate a chick with full grown chickens is to wait until somebody goes broody, wait the correct amount of time (order the chick towards the end of that time), and then one night slip the chick in and take away the fake egg. When mom wakes up in the morning, she'll have her new baby.

Don't go by that 4 feet per Bird. It's not correct. Every breed requires different space and care to keep things like behavioural issues under control.
Explain your Coop and Run size and if they get out to free range.
There is 28 squared feet they will have an acre of yard to free range there is 6 birds 4 are mid small one is a bigger bird and one roo, there run wraps around the whole coop, with 10 nesting boxes raised and a roost along the long side of the coop the coop is about as tall as a small 1 car garage

It would really help if you have photos, it's a bit hard to envision what you are talking about.

So is your total coop space 28sq ft and you are sectioning off 4ft of that to house 1 chick?

Again....1 single chick is going to be hard to integrate into a flock of 6 adults. If you do decide that is what you want to do, I recommend that you use a the mama heating pad method to brood your chick.
