PLEASE POST PHOTOS OF YOUR HOMEMADE WATERERS ON THIS THREAD! THANKS!
Here are photos of my Buckeye chicks, hatched about January 20-23, 2010. These are from Jen Scott, out of David Putoff. This hutch has two sides. I removed a section and they have full run of both sides. Feed and water si in both sides.
Notice my home made waterer. It is a 2" PVC pipe with a cap on one end and an elbow on the other. It is attached with two 3" conduit brackets. With a hole saw I driled the holes about an inch apart. It holds almost a gallon of water. I can add a 2 liter bottle to the elbow that will be attached with a small bungee cord. we recently moved our mobile home and had all but the end caps left over. Bought two end caps for about $1.50 at the local plumbing store.
