Budgies Not Bathing?

I never ever bathed my budgies. I only can remember one time that one actually bathed. My mom freaked out because it looked mangled. Now I only have my goffins cockatoo, a love bird, and special needs cockatiel. I would not recommend spraying them. Or forcing them to bathe. I tried to do that with Charlie the cockatoo, he killed a mouse and was covered in blood. After his bath he plucked half of his feathers out from the stress of the water. He now bathes when he wants to in his water bowl. I had a little "bath house" for the budgies but again they only used it once that I know of in the 3 years I had them.

My current flock bathes daily in a wide saucer with an inch of water and a few leaves of romaine lettuce. Without lettuce in the water they want to bathe but most dont want to get in. They like clinging to it.
