I have lived in several States and have always raised chickens, that is until about ten years a go; Now my gran dkids want to start raising chickens and I'm in the hobby again. I'm raising four RIRs seven PBRs and two Cochins (one black and one barred) and of course a nasty tempered, this-is-my-territory RIR rooster; they are in a run that measures 20'x35' with plenty of shade; among my little flock is a very young (And very big) Moscovy duck and a evil tempered, I rule-this-roost six year old Florida Gallinule.
I enjoy mi grand kids, boating, diving and fishing.
I know a little bit about raising poultry but will never know enough; What ever knowledge I have, if I can be of any assistance do not hesitate to ask....and I'll do the same when I need advice; There is an incredible amount of combined knowledge in this forums and I'm happy and humbled that I will be part of this group....
