So I have this Buff Brahma "pullet", hatchery stock, that is 6 weeks old. I've been combing the internet trying to find information and can't so I'm turning to you guys! My question is, are feathers the only definitive way to tell sex before laying? My "girl" has a much more pinkish and bumpier comb than "her" sisters and is also developing tiny pink wattles while the other two girls are not. Are comb/wattles an indicator at all or should I wait for feathers?
