no i think that baby just happened to go on her back and she tolerated it. ducks dont usually carry there babies on there back like a loon

Are buff ducks a good first duck. Anything I need to know about them before I get some. Any tips for first time duck raisers.
Just general information from some people with experience would be great.

The best first duck is a Pekin or a Magpie (But the second are rare) i raise ducks, and raise the both breeds, they need space, one bathtub or a pool, waterers, feeders, a roof, a wood box to sleep, and if you want ducklings a incubator, don't buy only one, they depressed if life alone.

Buff ducks are AMAZING first ducks!
I love,love,love mine!!!! They have such cute and quirky personalities!
They listen,learn, and herd very well. Very friendly ducks that are sweet and docile in personality.
Absolutely go for it!
