Buff Oringtons & Americaunas

I rescued 3 Americaunas and new to raising them. I'm interested in the Buff Orpingtons and wondered if they would compliment each other temperment wise. My young granddaughters are very much interested in caring for them so looking for friendly as well.

Welcome. I believe they would compliment each other very well. As said, each chicken is individual, but, basing a decision on breed is a majority decision. Thank you for rescuing the Americaunas.

Welcome to BYC. Generally, Buff Orpingtons are considered a calm and friendly breed, but individuals vary. If they are handled a lot as chicks it goes a long way regarding friendliness.
