I’ve got a 2 year old buff orph, Tater, I’ve taken her out of the big girl coop, (on my profile picture) where I have 5 hens, no Roos, I’ve taken her out Bc she kept getting picked on for weeks on end, I took the bully out for 3 weeks put her back in and she was up to no good again, Tater is sweet, docile minds her business and enjoys sun bathing and treats... I have a brand new coop being delivered this Sunday for my 2 Japanese bantams and 1 silver English duckwing bantam, new coop will be 6x9 ft, what I’m wondering is... can I put Tater in with my small bantys? All my bantams but one are very head strong sassy things...... will I have a problem? Since it’s a brand new coop maybe they will be distracted by that? HELP! I’ve attached my new coop below

I would give it a try. Remember there will be a little scuffling at first, (Will you try see no touch first?) But a docile full size hen should be fine with the smaller birds.

Yes! I figured there might be, and I am okay with a little but it’s the chasing and pinning down that scares me! but my two bantams can hold their own! But my little jap bantam Oreo runs if a rain drop gets too close! I’m gonna give it a go! Thanks so much!

Oh and yes I already have my buff in a large dog crate inside of their pen now so they can talk and see one another
