I am not that familiar with NH Reds , but that wouldbe my vote for him.

Can we see his tail? That ought to be the giveaway.

You would really need to provide a full body picture to assess breed. There are some very dark buff orps, so could very well be one but it's hard to tell from those small pics.

i would post a pic of his tail but he really doesn't have one right now , he is molting. but it has almost black feathers so i am guessing new hamp.
he is very gentle and you can handle him easily.
