Buff Orpington - 25 weeks - Roo or Hen

From what I can see of the saddle feathers of the chicken in the front - - -looks like a girl.

The one in the back has no comb or wattle - - - why ? ? ? Did you ever get an answer?

Not a clue ! I have never seen a difference so big before unless it was because the bigger comb was a roo - - - but yours is looking a girl/

Really stramge/

It's a lady! Mine lays such wonderful XL brown eggs. And they're darker in color than my rocks and RIR

It look like my hen. My BO roo is enormous, & is very "manly" looking, and is only 11 months old. He's looked that way for months, too. There is no mistaking them, even at that age.

Yeh! Eggs. One from the obvious hen, and the other from the other hen with the comb and wattle. Why are they different? At least, with the arrival of eggs I have confirmation! And, boy are they LOUD when they are doing their egg laying.
