Buff Orpington laying question...

Yep. He can't mingle AT ALL or he will mate the hens when he is big enough to do so. My sister observed mine doing his deed and said, "Wow! That gives a new definition to the word quickie!" She's right. It does happen pretty fast.

Hens or roos (19 weeks each)
To me they are both roos cause i have two buff orps which are 18 weeks (still not laying) and they have a so much female-look than yours. Still i like your birds, even though i might be wrong about the first one.

I think the top one is a hen and the bottom one is a rooster.... ok what am I missing on posting a pic my hens look like yours phionex boy but more red and my rooster is so handsome black as can be except for whats coming out his head and chin and tiny so tiny....

400
maybe this will work...

I have a question. Can a ginger red oegb mate a buff orpington pullet adult size hen?

IDK but I raise Buff orps and usually you can tell if they are roos early they have much longer legs and most will act more like roosters early to me they both look like hens and the bottom one looks like she will start laying soon mine start laying anywhere between 18-22 Weeks
