He is a big baby around 10 lbs,at a year old. Very active at taking care of the hens. We have had him since he was 2 days old. We ordered all pullets and ended up with 3 roosters. We have a Jersey Giant that is around 12lbs. and is now boss over all of the hens. Needless to say the Buff is now terrified of him and stays hid. All of my chickens are like pets I do not want to give the Buff to someone that wants to make soup out of him.

You are just 'up 2920' from me. Would love to have your roo for my (one) buff hen. HOWEVER ~ COMMA, I have 2 roos,~ a R.C.R.I.R , huge, and a splash J.G. pretty but very dissapointing in size. I only have 4 hens. Ratio is already off. Hope you find him a good forever home.

I think you misunderstood my post. I am sorry but I can NOT take your B.O. roo. I have 2 roos already, a R.C.R.I.R. and a J. G. splash. (only 4 hens) No I don't eat my chickens. That is why God made grocery stores. Even if I could of taken Mr. B.O. Roo I wouldn't. I have some type of mystery disease that is killing my chickens. I think ? ? it may be blackhead. I have a dead roo in the freezer for a nucropsy as soon as the weather warms a bit. That may tell me more. Have a friend in Navasota, her granddaughter has chickens (I think?). I will contact her and see if she would like your buff roo. Either way, best of luck finding him a good home.
