I have 4 BO's all of them but, 1 are friendly. What I mean by friendly is they will all leave me alone and or talk to me while I clean the coop and run or sit outside and visit with them. I have a alpha hen who does whatever she can to peck or kick me when I enter the coop. She is also my talkative. They are only 5 months old so I can't tell you about the egg productivity.

That's what I'm hoping for from your babies Jody.I'm going to sell my Ideal girls as they could care less if try to pet them.

mine are very friendly and they get along fairly well with my other birds, a little picked on.

That's why I was so disappointed, my other BO's were lap chickens. I've thought about selling my Ideal girls and getting bred ones, but I don't know...hopefully my Ideal ones will at least lay well...

I've got 11 of Jody's buffs that are two weeks old and I plan to keep the best cockeral and all the pullets.Then I will sell my Ideal girls as laying hens.
