If your hen is in the mood to sit on eggs (broody) then any egg will do! I think this might be a bird universal! I don't have any broody chickens at the moment - but I do have an albino pet cockatiel sitting on white marbles!!!

She is broody, and anything close to an egg is fine for sittin'

And your birds sound beautiful!
