Buff Orpy... I'm almost afraid to ask! (Verdict-- noisy boy!!!)

About 4 months. Developed a comb early, but it hasn't grown in several weeks. Only a bit bigger than its sister's, but the shape is.... different.

Okay, lay it on me! What's the verdict?

looks like a hen, i have a buff orphigton hen that looks just like that one, cold be wrong tho... but looks hen to me

I really thought it was a cockerel since the comb developed so much more quickly, but they seem to be evening out now. The jury's still out on the Cochin in the background... sort of the same size, shape, and color as the BO. I've been told you really can't know until it crows or lays! Any more ops?
