]I noticed 3 days ago that our rooster is limping and then I saw one toe is shifted.
I think it might be broken.
We brought him inside today to check it out but it's not warm and it does not seem to bother him when we move it around.
I also noticed a bump on the back but I don't think it is bumblefoot.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thank you!

That looks definitely broken. My serama cochin mix broke all her toes in time, they eventually all fell off. Ended with stumps, but gets around just fine. She is about 6 years old. I named her COTTON after Hank Hills dad King of the Hill tv. Chicken bones seem difficult to heal. Wishing you BEST

It will be there for a long time. It may grow together crooked, Before it falls off, it will be some time and the outermost part will die and start danging, But as long as chicken is moving around well, then pain may be minimal . In real terms, there is not much that can be done except if you had an unlimited budget and had it cared for by a specialist, veterinarian. $$$$$$$ Have a positive attitude . It will be well.
