Buff Silkie???????

O'k a few months back i purchased a few silkies from a woman stating they were Buffs from SQ but she sold them as pet quality . But there REALLY dark for buff's is there such a thing as reds?? and they have black tips on there wings/tails

she is buff alright..a nice rich color buff, what makes her a pet quality is the black pigment showing thru her fly feathers and tail, SQ buff birds don't have that, they are almost devoided of ALL black pigment on the feathers(very find peppering on tail is ok,but is very very small)​

i would say there breed quailty silkies you need buffs like till keep combs dark

THe colour of the buf is correct. Many buffs are not hte rich colour they are supposed to be. However, they have WAY too much black on the wings/tails.
