Hi,
I have just had two hens go broody and want to set them on some eggs, but am having trouble deciding which ones. I have a beautiful Buff Sussex cock. His ladies are 2 x RIR, 1 CLB, 1 Light Sussex, 1 Silver Partridge Pekin, 1 Gold Cochin and 1 Black Orpington (Bantam x). I believe the light sussex chicks will be sex-linked, but could be wrong. What am I likely to get from the other hens. Anything interesting or particularly nice? Or is my best best to stick with the light sussex eggs. Any help most appreciated.
