buff w/ poopy backside

one of my buffs has been getting a "poopy" backside. tonight when i got home it looked really nasty, so i got out some gloves and warm soapy water and got it clean nothing under the feathers looked wrong she just had lots of poop there. all the buffs seem to have a bit of that, but this one was worse than the rest, they also seem to puffy feathers in that area and the poo just sticks to them instead of just falling on the ground? is this a fairly normal occurance w/ orps? or a sign of something else? they all seem to have normal looking poo. thanks for any help.

Hi, when this happens to my flock i know its time to worm them, especially with Autumn and all the leaves falling around getting damp and rotting.
Has their diet changed?
I would also Give them a rest from any greens for a few days.
Perhaps some vitamin in the water too, in case its moult related.

I would get a faecal to see if it is a worm or somethingthing else going on.

this morning i went out and checked their poop no sign of worms and it looks to be normal. they have been eating berrys alot lately from some bush in the woods along w/ some seeds and apples that are falling. i just got another kind of grain for them as i had gotton a couple of bad bags from a different feed store. i've been giving them pumpkin/pumpkin seeds lately also. is there anyplace on line to order vitamins and worm medication?

The pumpkin seeds are a good natural wormer, so is garlic crushed in with a mash.
You wont see any worms in their poops until after worming, unless you have a microscope!
You should be able to get a wormer online over there.
You hit the nail on the head when you mentioned apple-drop! lots of intestinal worms to be found there, I had a vet in here once to look at a poddy foal that I was caring for, he saw my girls scratching around my pile of fruit that I had raked up and said, You will need to worm those girls fast!!! That stuck in my head forever.
